Our vanilla bean comes from Indonesia, more precisely from the exotic Alor Islands. The natives of Indonesia also call this beautiful place "Pulau Alor". Here on the islands grow our particularly aromatic vanilla beans, which are also characterized by their extra length. The Indonesian vanilla beans are carefully cultivated and harvested only when fully ripe. This ensures that the vanilla bean unfolds its full-bodied sweet vanilla aroma. Through our long-standing contact with our partners directly on site, we support the vanilla farmers in Indonesia with our joint project.
Tip: Do not dispose of the scraped vanilla bean, but use it to flavor sugar or other dishes.
